The laboratories of the department of Pharmaceutics are equipped with sophisticated equipments like Six Basket Dissolution Apparatus, Constant Temperature Water Bath, Rotary Vacuum Evaporator, Brookfield Viscometer, Peristaltic Pump etc.,

The Department also has a pilot manufacturing machine room with facilities for preparation of tablets, liquid orals, capsules etc., It is equipped with Rotary Tableting Machine, Granulator, Tablet Coating Machine, Liquid Filling Machine, Capsule Filling Machine etc.,

Drug Delivery System: Novel Drug Delivery System are formulated, characterized and animal studies carried out to prove the efficacy of the modified dosage forms. Research work is carried out on controlled release, sustained release, liposomes, niosomes, transdermal patches, floating tablets, bioadhesive systems etc.,

Techniques of solubilization: Various techniques are employed for enhancing bioavailability of drugs.

Pharmacokinetics studies : Pharmacokinetics studies on animal models are carried out to evaluate the various pharmacokinetic parameters.
