1 About The Library
The C.L. Baid Metha College of Pharmacy Library stands as a cornerstone of academic excellence, offering a comprehensive and well-curated collection of resources that foster learning, research, and intellectual development. Committed to supporting students, faculty, and researchers, the library provides access to 34,991 volumes encompassing 3,127 titles across various pharmaceutical and allied disciplines. It also subscribes to 30 national and international journals, ensuring that users remain updated with the latest advancements and research findings. In addition to its extensive print collection, the library offers a wide range of e-resources, including access to an e-consortium, enabling seamless access to digital databases, scholarly articles, and online reference materials. Through its diverse physical and digital resources, the library ensures that every member of the academic community is well-equipped to achieve academic and professional success.

What are LRC’s working hours?
LRC remains open on all days except three national holidays as following: Monday – Friday: 8:45 am – 4:45pm Hours
- Republic Day – 26th January
- Independence Day – 15th August
- Gandhi Jayanti – 2nd October
- The Library remains closed on Institute’s declared holidays.
4 Rules And Regulations
All the users entering the Library must keep their bags and other belongings at the entrance and sign in the Register at the checkpoint. Do not leave any valuables at the Checkpoint. Bags, Umbrella, Personal Books and other items, Wearing Aprons or Coats are not allowed inside the library. Identity Card is compulsory for getting access to the library. Silence should be strictly maintained in the library. Use of cellular phones and audio instruments with or without speaker or headphones is strictly prohibited in the library. Library Premises are under CCTV surveillance. Laptops are strictly prohibited inside the library. Users are requested to co-operate in maintaining conducive atmosphere to study, many of the reading materials possessed by this library are very precious, rare and also irreplaceable. Please handle them with utmost care. The library books/Journals are not to be spoilt with an underlining, or scribbling on pages. Defaulters will be fined heavily equal to the cost of replacing of the books. Books removed from the shelves by users, if not required for reference, should be kept on the table nearest to them. Please don't try to shelve them yourself. Please remember that a book misplaced is a book lost. Show the book at the checkpoint before taking out the issued books. Beverages and Eatables are not allowed inside the library. Library reserves the right to call back any issued book/item at anytime. Periodicals, Pharmacopoeia, Dissertation, and Complimentary/Specimen copy Reference sources are to be referred in the library only. When a member leaves the college he/she shall return all the books without fail.

Monday – Friday: 08.45 am – 4.45 pm (subject to change) Circulatin Time: 09.00 am – 04.30 pm (Working day only) The Library remains closed on Institute’s declared holidays.
